Here’s why it’s a mixed review
The staff were welcoming, and the food was abundant—each meal brought delightful Mexican flavors! Tons of activities for kids too.
The rooms felt outdated, and the beach area was small, often crowded with water sports, limiting relaxation spots.

The beachfront location at Dos Playas Faranda took my breath away. The view every morning while sipping coffee was simply stunning. All the staff were incredibly friendly and always made me feel welcome. The gardens surrounding the hotel were well-kept and added to the relaxing ambiance. I appreciated the cleanliness of my room, which was modern, despite some cracks on the balcony ceiling. The pool area was impressive and very clean, providing a great spot to unwind. However, the hotel experience wasn't without its issues. Renovation work during the day made it hard to relax in my room due to constant hammering sounds. The dining options were a bit limited. While the snacks were decent, the main restaurant food didn’t quite meet my expectations. They could definitely enhance the variety offered. Also, I encountered some delays with service in the restaurant, possibly due to the hotel being understaffed during my stay. Wireless access for my laptop was not available in the room, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite these inconveniences, I enjoyed my time here overall, especially for the price.
